I really like how this page came out. They seem really in love in the first panel and the last one is so photo real.
Thanks, Arlene! In my imagination, the first one is a commissioned portrait from their wedding, and the last one was done much later, to illustrate the story of their tragic end, which is why it’s a different style. It was fun to see how much I could push the photo-realism in the last panel, although it came out a little more emotionally disturbing than I intended!
